I bought 30 pounds of butter today. With the stuff I already had in my freezer, I pretty much have my year's supply, knock on wood the power doesn't go out. I really should can it so I don't have to worry about that.
When you find butter at 99 cents a pound, you go a little crazy. I refuse to let margarine pass my lips. Ewww!

Before I was married I ate whatever but my husband will only eat butter and now I'm the same way. How long will butter last if you can it?

I have heard that you can bottle butter. When I find the information I will let you know. I have wanted to bottle some myself. I found butter on sale a couple of months ago too and it is my only surviving freezer.
Seriously if you figure out how to bottle butter let me know. That is the one thing lacking in my food storage. You yankee's are lucky to get such good prices here in Canada I pay 3.59 on sale! Yup I guess I need a road trip.
